Spiritual Guidance

Theresa Nuzzo School as a church school, caters for the spiritual formation of all its members, throughout the whole scholastic year.

Religious Activities:

• Daily morning prayer for the teaching staff.
• Daily religious assemblies for the children and staff at 8.00am and at 11.00am.
• Monthly mass for the whole school, organised by each class in turn.
• The spiritual director administers the sacrament of reconciliation to grades 4, 5 and 6.
• Lenten spiritual exercises for all grades.
• Monthly special religious assembly organised by each class in turn.
• The organisation of Christmas Mass.
• Mass in honour of
  • Our lady of Sorrows
  • Foundress Day (Mass in honour of Mother Foundress)
  • Eucharistic Day/Sacred Heart of Jesus
• Mass for Grade 6 school leavers.
• 3 days of spiritual formation for staff. These are at the:
  • beginning of the scholastic year
  • beginning of second term
  • end of the scholastic year
• Parents are invited to participate in:
  • Christmas Mass
  • Lady of Sorrows Mass
  • Foundress Day Mass
  • Crowning
  • Grade 6 leavers’ Mass
