Malta Football Association (MFA) Stadium Tour

Grade 4 pupils were given the opportunity to visit the National Football Stadium, which hosts Maltese Premier League Matches, together with, International Matches. The children were shown a short feature film related to football and then given a tour around the Centenary Stadium and the National Stadium by Mr Alfred Cachia. They saw the ‘behind the scenes’ of where a Maltese footballer prepares before an important international match. They also went through the players’ tunnel and stood close to the actual pitch. Mr Cachia gave a talk about the seating arrangements and other information related to the stadium.

Once this tour was over, the children headed over to the Centenary Stadium and were given the chance to play some fun activities related to Physical Activity.

It was a memorable day for both students, teachers and LSAs alike.
