Healthy Eating

As part of the healthy eating topic, all the Kindergarten classes did various cooking activities. These included, the squeezing of oranges, the making of a fruit salad, the making of rice salad and the making of toast with jam. These activities were not just fun but they helped the pupils to enhance their vocabulary. Children had the opportunity to learn the names of new fruits and vegetables, and also learn the different colours of each. These activities are a great way to improve fine motor skills and also to socialize. The pupils really enjoyed themselves eating such healthy food!
