On Sunday 6th March 2016, the PTA organised a cultural activity for teachers and members of staff, parents, students, relatives and friends. This was to Fort St Elmo in Valletta. 90 people, including children, attended this activity. Three tour guides from Heritage Malta guided the people around and explained Malta’s history in relation to the place.
This activity was a fruitful experience, as this helped both children and their parents to understand more our history, and moreover, they have seen the place itself. The children will eventually find it more interesting and very helpful when tackling Valletta and its Fort in their Social Studies lessons.
